Who You Are
As a Senior Portfolio Manager with Frost Wealth Management, you will be responsible for independently managing assets within the proprietary strategies developed by Frost Wealth Management. More than that, this role is about building relationships and doing so with integrity, caring, and excellence in mind.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and supervise deployment of strategies for clients within an assigned group of accounts, ensuring deployed strategy fits specific client objectives
- Provide guidance and oversight regarding department operations through participation in assigned committees
- Participate in testing and evaluation of Wealth Management operations to ensure responsibilities to clients
- Supervise and mentor lower level staff to ensure that their development progresses satisfactorily (this may not apply to all positions)
- Assist with business development efforts for Frost
- Contribute to the asset review committee, analyzing assets for inclusion on the investment approved list
- Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline
- 10+ years experience in a portfolio management role overseeing investment accounts in a fiduciary manner at a wealth management or other financial services organization
- Thorough understanding of financial market/security types concepts and the ability to communicate concepts to clients
- Experience managing and/or advising on multi-asset class portfolios.
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
- Broad understanding of alternative asset classes
- Master’s degree in an appropriate discipline
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or other financial industry designation
- Experience with industry tools such as Fitek, Bloomberg, and FactSet
- Experience making public presentations
