As Our Development Manager, You Will
- Plan and manage all current Villages events, fundraising, community-focused, and peer to peer campaigns
- Create and manage fundraising campaigns and ticketed events?
- Work closely with the Director of Development to ensure all special events meet budgeted revenue goals
- Serve as the organization's primary liaison to the PR agency, collaborating on PR strategy, story ideas, and campaign focus
- Coordinate and schedule media interviews, press appearances, and press releases in partnership with the PR Agency
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all agency volunteers, ensuring a positive and meaningful experience
- Recruit, train, schedule, and recognize volunteers across all events and organizational activities
- Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field
- 1 year of experience in event planning, fundraising, or a related nonprofit role
- Experience working in a nonprofit or human services environment
- Familiarity with fundraising best practices, peer-to-peer campaigns, and donor stewardship
- Experience managing volunteers
- Experience working with media or PR partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with donor databases, CRM systems, or fundraising platforms (e.g., Classy/GoFundMe for Nonprofits)
