Communications and Social Media Coordinator

General Purpose:
Responsible for membership communications throughout the Club, including club email blasts, website management (public and private), social media maintenance, member event communication, and calendar management and updates.
Links with Troon Privé corporate resources as needed and executes at the club level. This includes activities such as drafting Club and/or Troon-branded email blasts, sharing social media content, managing stock and distribution of Club and/or Troon magazines and directories, and curating and developing content for posting and submissions to the club website. Supports the Membership Director in all membership sales activities, including lead processing, production of prospect and sales reports, and management of membership files.
Essential Duties:
- Schedules, manages, and/or creates all facets of internal member communication
- Manages the club’s website and social media content
- Develops and produces content and assets for all media channels, including the website
- Develops and produces social and other programming, including related collateral and materials for distribution
- Assists with CRM and prospect database, ensuring integration with the club’s operating system
- Assists with external email marketing campaigns (lead generation)
- Ensures program and reporting information files are maintained
- Implements and maintains excellent service to achieve member and guest satisfaction
- Maintains flexibility to take on new tasks as directed by the Membership Director
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in marketing, sales, and/or communications, plus knowledge of website management, content creation, and social media; or a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Business, or Marketing
- Design and Photoshop experience a plus

- Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job (e.g., associates may be required to communicate with English-speaking customers or co-workers; manuals for equipment may be in English)
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and HTML
- Ability to study, analyze, and interpret complex activities and/or information to improve practices or develop new approaches
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
