About The Role
As a Junior Business Analyst, you will support the optimization of payment flows, merchant operations, and system performance analysis. You will work closely with Risk, Compliance, Sales, and Key Account Management teams to ensure smooth transaction routing, accurate reporting, and actionable insights derived from traffic and operational data.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical individual who is eager to grow in the fintech and payments industry while working with real-time data and complex transaction ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Monitor merchant, provider, and terminal traffic to ensure optimal system performance
- Oversee merchant routing and switching processes to maintain seamless payment operations
- Collaborate with Risk and Compliance teams to manage terminal switching and ensure adherence to regulatory and operational limits
- Generate, maintain, and analyze custom reports based on business and operational needs
- Evaluate merchant traffic patterns and provide actionable insights to Key Account Management and Sales teams
- Translate traffic and performance analytics into clear reporting for processing partners and stakeholders
- Organize and deliver training sessions on system operations, reporting tools, and analytics for internal teams across departments
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Understanding of business analysis, data interpretation, or operational reporting processes
- Experience working with data systems, reporting tools, or transactional environments is an advantage
- Ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and operational inefficiencies
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and comfort working with data sets and dashboards
- Good organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain data insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive and structured approach to problem-solving
- Russian language proficiency is required, and a good command of English is essential
- Previous exposure to fintech, payments, PSP, EMI, or banking environments is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
