The Business Development Manager – Atlantic Canada is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth across the region. This role will primarily focus on expanding the East Coast Mobile Medical (ECMM) Occupational Testing business, while also supporting the growth of Dynacare’s full portfolio of health, workplace, insurance, and diagnostic solutions.
As Dynacare’s primary commercial representative in Atlantic Canada, the Business Development Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with employers, hospitals, clinics, healthcare providers, government agencies, and strategic partners. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, strengthen and grow existing accounts, and act as a key link between regional market needs and Dynacare’s national capabilities.
This role requires a highly motivated, relationship-focused sales professional who thrives in an independent role, can navigate complex stakeholder environments, and is skilled at building and expanding a market through collaboration across internal teams.

Work Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the ability to collaborate effectively across the Eastern Time Zone. Flexibility in scheduling is required to accommodate business needs.

- Grow the East Coast Mobile Medical Occupational Testing business across Atlantic Canada, including drug & alcohol testing, workplace testing programs, and related services.
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across other Dynacare service lines (e.g., workplace health and wellness solutions, laboratory and diagnostic offerings).
- Develop and execute a territory growth plan aligned with Dynacare’s national commercial strategy and regional priorities.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing opportunities from prospecting through contract execution.
- Lead responses to RFPs, tenders, and complex commercial proposals in collaboration with internal partners.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders across Atlantic Canada.
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and expansion.
- Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell additional ECMM and Dynacare services based on client needs.
- Represent Dynacare professionally in the market, reinforcing its reputation as a trusted healthcare and workplace solutions partner.
- Develop a deep understanding of the Atlantic Canada market, including regional employers, industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory considerations.
- Provide market intelligence and insights to internal stakeholders to inform product development, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
- Support the integration and growth of ECMM within Dynacare by helping align local client needs with national systems, processes, and capabilities.
- Work closely with ECMM and Dynacare operations, client services, medical, finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless onboarding, implementation, and ongoing service delivery for clients.
- Partner with national business development leaders to bring appropriate Dynacare capabilities into Atlantic Canada.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with Dynacare policies, privacy standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working in Atlantic Canada markets strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive sales or business development experience, ideally within healthcare, occupational health, or a related B2B environment
- Demonstrated success in territory management, new business development, and complex sales cycles.
- Post-secondary education in business, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred
- Home office based with 50% travel within Canada (primarily east coast)
- Occasional national travel for meetings, training or strategic planning
