Clinical Business Intelligence Manager (AI Training)

About The Role

What if your deep expertise in clinical analytics could help shape the AI systems influencing the future of healthcare? We're looking for an experienced Clinical Business Intelligence Manager to lead BI teams, translate complex healthcare data into actionable insights, and directly contribute to cutting-edge AI projects at the intersection of technology and medicine.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for seasoned healthcare data professionals who thrive on turning messy, complex datasets into decisions that matter.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a business intelligence team in designing and delivering dashboards, reports, and analytics that support clinical and operational decision-making
  • Maintain and optimize BI infrastructure — including data models, SQL queries, and reporting pipelines — ensuring accuracy, reliability, and performance
  • Analyze clinical, operational, and performance data to surface meaningful trends and support leadership decisions
  • Connect clinical and administrative datasets to real-world healthcare outcomes, translating technical findings into clear, trusted insights
  • Ensure data quality and governance standards are upheld across all BI deliverables in regulated healthcare environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align analytics outputs with organizational priorities and care delivery goals

Who You Are

  • Experienced in healthcare or clinical analytics, business intelligence, or health data management
  • Proven ability to design, manage, and scale BI systems — including dashboards, reporting pipelines, and data models
  • Comfortable working with clinical, operational, and administrative datasets in regulated healthcare settings
  • A confident team leader who can guide analysts and BI developers toward high-quality, impactful outputs
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and capable of maintaining rigor across complex, multi-source data environments
  • Self-directed and reliable — you can own deliverables and drive outcomes without close supervision

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems
  • Familiarity with AI model training workflows or human-in-the-loop data pipelines
  • Background working with large language models or AI research teams in a healthcare context
  • Experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, dbt, or similar BI platforms

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside the world's leading research labs
  • Fully remote and flexible — structure your hours around your life, not the other way around
  • Freelance autonomy with the depth and meaning of high-stakes, technically challenging work
  • Gain hands-on exposure to advanced LLMs and the data infrastructure behind how they're trained
  • Contribute to AI development that has real potential to improve healthcare outcomes at scale
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
