Your tasks
- Develop a System Engineering Framework You’ll conceptualize, create, and continuously evolve a holistic System Engineering Framework that covers all phases of the lifecycle
- Define and Implement Methods & Processes You’ll define and implement System Engineering methods, processes, and tools meeting the highest quality standards, specifically based on the V-Model
- Prepare for MBSE You’ll create the prerequisites for the future introduction of Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) methodologies
- Lead a Team You’ll lead a cross-functional team to create the operational portion of the System Engineering Frameworks during the execution of customer system projects
- Mentor Junior Engineers You’ll transfer your knowledge and mentor junior System Engineers, helping them grow their skills
- Focus on Process Improvement Importantly, this role doesn’t involve developing technical systems or leading/supporting System Engineering projects directly. Your focus will be on defining and implementing the necessary processes, methods, and tools for the successful execution of system projects
- You hold a university degree (Master’s/Diploma) in Engineering – such as Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical – or a comparable qualification
- You possess relevant professional experience, ideally within the field of System Engineering, or a related discipline
- You have solid experience in at least one of the following industries Defense, Aerospace, Space, Railway, or Power Plants
- You’ve gained experience in various roles within the System Engineering lifecycle, for example as a System Architect, System Engineering Manager, or Chief Engineer
- You possess in-depth knowledge of System Engineering principles, methods, and tools
- You have comprehensive experience with the V-Model and its application possibilities
- You have a basic understanding of Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) approaches and their potential
- You are familiar with relevant standards, such as ISO 15288 and EN 50128
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (like Scrum or Kanban) is a plus
- You demonstrate highly developed analytical and conceptual skills and possess strong communication and presentation skills
- You thrive in a team environment and are comfortable being assertive when necessary
- You work independently and in a structured manner
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile
