- Masters Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
- Professional Licensure in your discipline (LMSW, LPC, etc)
- At least 5 years experience including a minimum of one providing behavioral health services to youth
- Experience supervising clinicians
- Provides clinical supervision, caseload oversight, and support to direct-report staff to ensure effective, person-centered care and positive outcomes.
- Reviews cases, conducts staff meetings, and monitors documentation and compliance with Medicaid, DCH, and agency standards.
- Trains, mentors, and develops staff through supervision, professional development, performance management, and onboarding.
- Utilizes strength-based, trauma-informed, and motivational interviewing approaches in supervision and service delivery.
- Supports staff in developing stage-wise, integrated treatment plans for individuals with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.
- Monitors implementation of evidence-based practices (EBP), conducts chart audits, and authorizes medically necessary services.
- Acts as a liaison with community providers and maintains knowledge of available behavioral health and community resources.
- May manage a small caseload and assist with program coordination, expansion, and operational needs.
- Responsible for staff scheduling, performance evaluations, hiring recommendations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Ensures compliance with confidentiality, cybersecurity, attendance, and travel requirements within the designated service area.
