Job Overview
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will act as the primary technical contact for SolaX’s Netherland customer base, providing advanced support for solar inverters and energy storage systems. You will be responsible for remote diagnostics, installation support, issue resolution, and technical training.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support
- Provide professional technical support to customers, installers, and partners via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues with solar inverters and battery systems.
- Guide users through fault diagnosis and resolution procedures.
Installation & Commissioning
- Review solar and battery system designs to ensure compatibility with SolaX products.
- Assist with remote commissioning and configuration of installed systems.
Issue Escalation
- Collaborate with internal engineering and R&D teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Document and escalate recurring product issues to the appropriate departments.
Training & Documentation
- Conduct technical training sessions for installers and distribution partners.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and troubleshooting manuals.
Product & Process Improvement
- Identify trends in technical issues and suggest improvements to products or support processes.
Keep up to date with the latest industry developments and regulatory requirements in BNL.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Technical experience with solar inverters, PV systems, and/or battery energy storage systems.
- Previous experience in technical support, field service, or technical engineering roles.
- Familiarity with solar monitoring platforms, remote diagnostic tools, and communication protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of NL electrical codes, solar standards, and grid connection rules.
- Degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Experience working with installers, EPCs, or distributors in EU.
