Data Migration Manager

LKQ is looking for new colleagues that would join our data migration team!

As we are now in the process of digital transformation, we are expanding our team with 4 new colleagues that would join us as Data Managers, and help us with deployment of new ERP across Europe.

Each Data Manager would cover one of our crucial business areas:

1. Finance: Customer Master, Supplier Master, Employees, General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Account Receivables, Fixed Assets
2. Supply Chain Management: Item Master, ATP, Purchase Orders
3. Commercial: Customer Master, Pricing, Sales Orders, Returns, Delivery Notes
4. Product Management, Procurement and Logistics: Item Master, BoMs, Supplier Master, Locators, On Hand Inventory, Blanket Purchase Agreements

Data Manager is a business‑led role with end‑to‑end accountability for the data lifecycle, data quality, and business readiness of Oracle ERP migration within LKQ Europe.

The role requires proven hands‑on experience executing ERP data migrations, owning the readiness, quality, governance, and reconciliation of master and transactional data across legacy systems, Edge applications, and Oracle ERP.

Data Manager defines data standards and migration rules, ensures regulatory and process alignment, and ensures that migrated data fully supports financial and operational business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the end‑to‑end Oracle ERP data migration readiness and delivery across Europe, from requirements through cutover and hypercare.
• Define data scope, data objects, transformation rules, validation criteria, and reconciliation for master and transactional data.
• Coordinate data extraction, cleansing, enrichment, transformation, and loading across legacy systems, Edge applications, and Oracle ERP.
• Define reconciliation logic, acceptance criteria, and data sign‑off thresholds.
• Lead mock loads, trial conversions, cutover planning, and pre‑ and post‑load reconciliation.
• Govern the full data lifecycle and data quality, including lineage, traceability, impact analysis, and master data governance.
• Design and review functional data models, mappings, ETL/ELT patterns, and integration flows.
• Ensure data supports financial and operational processes and complies with GDPR, SOX, and archiving requirements.
• Act as the primary data interface between business, IT, rollout teams, and partners, driving alignment, governance, training, and documentation.

What we expect from you:

• 8+ years’ experience in data management, MDM, data migration, or data architecture within an ERP environment
• Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle EBS (R12 / Cloud) master and transactional data
• Proven experience delivering ERP data migrations, including extraction, cleansing, transformation, loading, and reconciliation
• Experience supporting multi‑country ERP rollouts within Europe (hands‑on leadership preferred)
• Ability to coordinate data quality and cleansing across multiple source and target systems, including Edge applications
• Confident working with and leading remote, cross‑functional teams in a matrix setup
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, caching and people development is advantageous
• Willingness to travel within Europe and EU (up to 30%)
• Fluent written and spoken English
