Work Location:The incumbent would mainly work onsite at ourWoodbridge, ONplant in partnership with the manufacturing team to provide on-site support with the end goal of delivering a world-class Customer Service experience.
What You’ll Do:
This position is a key individual contributor to the Sales & Manufacturing team, focused on achieving sales targets & helping to deliver a quality customer experience that is in line with the values of the company. The incumbent will be responsible for providing inside sales support and other related services for the manufacturing facilities. In addition, the Account Representatives will be provided with exposure to leadership decisions that will have a major impact on the business. Part of the career development will be opportunities to work directly with our production teams to better understand our manufacturing process. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and maintaining positive customer relationships and keeping current on company products, sales procedures, and market conditions. The Account Representative will report to the Sales Manager of the region.
At a high level, you will:
- Provide oversight for day-to-day sales, margin, analysis, and customer relationships of Metrie’s manufacturing business and take responsibility to achieve the targeted budget.
- Drive sales with our current and prospective account base, through developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
- Data entry and multitasking while leveraging multiple types of source documents
- Provide price quoting to customers and coordinate with onsite production department to facilitate the movement of sale through to production
- Collaborate within cross functional teams; act as a liaison between operations functions and customers to manage expectations on delivery schedules and order fulfillment
- Maintain and keep current detailed records, reports, and customer data
- 2+ years of Sales experience. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and focus on analysis is required
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach
- Handle a variety of activities, and multiple projects occurring simultaneously.
- Have sense of urgency for achieving goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Focused team building approach; can inspire, motivate, and engage with internal and external customers.
- Prior CRM Tool training and SAP experience is an asset.

In adherence to the principle of pay transparency, we are pleased to disclose the base pay for this full-time position at Metrie. The base pay range for this role is set at $55,000 - $65,000 per year. The specific base pay within the range will be contingent upon an individual's skills, experience and qualifications. Furthermore, it is essential to highlight that our remuneration ranges are established based on the role, level, and location.
