Staff Accountant

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation and consolidation of financial statements
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to track financial performance
• Monitor expenditures and help identify risks and opportunities for cost savings
• Collaborate on internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy
• Assist with financial statement disclosures and reporting requirements
• Conduct financial research and respond to management inquiries
• Support inventory accounting and product costing processes
• Partner with the Corporate Controller on ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP
• Experience with accounting software and financial systems
• Advanced Excel and spreadsheet skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3–5 years of accounting experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• CPA certification preferred

• Standard business hours, with occasional extended hours during close cycles
• Office-based, climate-controlled environment
• Minimal to no travel required
