Within the Product Marketing Department, the Senior Product Manager is responsible for contributing to the growth of the company's Jewelry & Fine Jewelry business.
Reporting to the International Head of Product, the Senior Product Manager oversees the development and launch of the collections entrusted to them, analyses performance, and acts as the interface between the various players in the business (Design, Product Development, Communication, Merchandising, Training, Visual Merchandising).
Main Responsibilities:
PRODUCT
- Drafting and presenting collection briefs, based on in-depth analysis of collections and sales
- Monitoring the development and production of items - reviewing quotations, optimising margins and costs - in coordination with the Product Development team
- Prepare weekly Product Management meeting with your fellow Product Manager (Product development follow-up & action plans)
- Referencing, pricing, packshot shooting of the collections you are entrusted with
- Monitoring the delivery schedule in coordination with the Product Development team
- Management of the product environment, in coordination with the Visual Merchandising department
- Monitoring of legal aspects (name registrations, competition, etc.) with the Legal counsel
- Competitive benchmarking
LAUNCH
- Developing Product News for each launch (Product information; Storytelling, liaising with the Communication department; Key selling points)
- Preparing launches with the various departments involved (Training, Merchandising, Operational Marketing, Communications, Retail, etc.) to ensure launches take place under optimal conditions
- Participation in the development of communication assets (liaising with Communication team on the products availability; briefs for Craftsmanship shootings)
- Organisation of collection previews
- Contributing to the success of customer events by providing expertise on the collections: before the events by liaising with Merchandising, VM, Communication & Retail teams and during the events
STRATEGIC MARKETING
- Developing the annual Product Plan with the International Head of Product
- Work closely with Merchandising team on the Product lifecycle Management
- Liaise with Finance & Merchandising teams on the annual Price review
Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in Product Marketing
- Initial experience in the world of Jewellery and Fine Jewellery
- Product awareness & sensitivity: from design to production, you accompany each step with a genuine sensitivity to products and creativity
