Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans and schedules for interior refurbishment, modification, and completion work.
- Prepare accurate labor and material quotes for interior fabrication and installation, including upholstery, cabinetry, soft goods, and trim.
- Coordinate workflow between interior shop, production teams, and management to ensure timely execution of projects.
- Serve as the primary liaison between sales, production, and customers for interiors-related scope, timelines, and updates.
- Review work orders, engineering data, and customer specifications to define scope and resource requirements.
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet delivery deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and quality standards.
- Track labor hours, material usage, and project costs to maintain budget alignment.
- Identify potential delays or risks and proactively implement solutions.
- Support procurement by identifying materials, lead times, and vendor requirements for interior components.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including quotes, schedules, and completion reports.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Business, or related field preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in aviation interiors, MRO operations, or aircraft completions.
- Strong understanding of aircraft interior components, materials, and fabrication processes.
- Experience working with business aviation platforms (Cessna, King Air, Gulfstream, Bombardier, Global series preferred).
- Proficiency in scheduling and quoting tools (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and technical documentation.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations related to aircraft interiors and modifications.
- Experience with cost estimation and project management in an MRO environment.
- Knowledge of interior certification processes (STCs, DER approvals, etc.).
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in quoting and scheduling
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. Occasional periods of walking, sitting, rotation, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs, and frequently lifting up to 10 lbs.
- Frequent exposure to general shop conditions, engine noise.
- Frequent exposure to aircraft exhaust, moving mechanical parts, lubricants, metals, and solvents.
- Frequent exposure to seasonal weather.
