Position Overview
MTNP is recruiting on behalf of an early-stage celebrity driven fashion and apparel brand. The Chief Executive Officer will have full responsibility for the strategic, financial, and operational leadership of the company. This role requires a proven apparel executive with direct experience scaling apparel brands, leading direct-to-consumer operations, and driving sustainable revenue growth. The CEO will work closely with ownership and key stakeholders to define vision, execute growth strategy, and build long-term enterprise value.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and execute the company’s long-term vision, growth strategy, and operating plan
- Lead all aspects of the apparel business including brand strategy, product, merchandising, marketing, operations, and finance
- Oversee and optimize direct-to-consumer channels, including e-commerce, digital marketing, customer acquisition, and retention
- Drive revenue growth while maintaining disciplined cost management and margin performance
- Provide executive leadership over wholesale strategy, including key accounts, distribution structure, pricing, and channel profitability
- Balance DTC and wholesale growth to maximize brand reach, revenue, and margin performance
- Manage full P&L responsibility and ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performance management team
- Evaluate expansion opportunities including new channels, categories, partnerships, and geographic growth
- Serve as the primary representative of the company to investors, partners, and external stakeholders
- Establish performance metrics and accountability across the organization
Required
- Work onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah -- this is not a remote position, and there is no relocation pay
- Prior experience serving as CEO of an apparel brand
- Demonstrated success growing and scaling an apparel company
- Strong background in e-commerce and direct-to-consumer business models and processes
- Proven experience overseeing wholesale apparel distribution and key account relationships
- Deep understanding of apparel product lifecycle, sourcing, merchandising, and brand management
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive execution, and deliver measurable results
- Strong financial acumen with full P&L leadership experience
