About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our ureteroscope business across the United States, with a strong focus on developing and managing distributor networks. This role will be responsible for driving revenue through strategic distributor partnerships, expanding market coverage, and ensuring high-performance execution in the urology and endoscopy space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the ureteroscope product line.
- Identify, recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing distributors across key U.S. regions.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with distributor partners, ensuring alignment with company goals and sales objectives.
- Establish clear performance metrics, KPIs, and incentive structures for distributors; regularly evaluate and optimize performance.
- Provide ongoing training, clinical education, and commercial support to distributor sales teams.
- Conduct joint field visits with distributors to support key accounts, including hospitals, surgical centers, and urology clinics.
- Negotiate distribution agreements, pricing strategies, and territory management.
- Monitor distributor pipeline, inventory levels, and sales forecasts to ensure consistent product availability and growth.
- Gather market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback through distributor channels.
- Collaborate with internal marketing, clinical, and product teams to support distributor success.
- Ensure all distributor activities comply with regulatory and company policies in the healthcare industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of sales experience in medical devices, with direct experience managing distributors in the U.S. market.
- Proven track record of successfully building and scaling distributor networks.
- Experience in urology is strongly preferred; experience with disposable ureteroscopes is a significant plus.
- Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare procurement processes and channel dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel frequently (up to 50–70%).
