Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Group Financial Accountant based in Geneva. The Group Financial Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing financial reporting, and utilizing accounting software to process financial data. The role requires supporting the finance function through detailed financial analysis, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and contributing to financial decision-making processes. Collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders will be key in fostering financial accuracy and transparency.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing and managing financial statements and financial reports
• Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of finance principles
• Proficiency in operating accounting software and related tools
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance practices
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, Swiss Federal Diploma) are plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (French language skills are advantage)
• Prior experience in the commodity trading or metals industry is an advantage
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage responsibilities independently
