About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Dallas team. In this role, you’ll drive new business by connecting clients with the right health insurance solutions and building a strong pipeline alongside our Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell health insurance policies to individuals and businesses, helping them find the right coverage.
- Follow up with inbound leads and proactively generate new opportunities through calls and networking.
- Guide and enroll clients into American Ally’s health services network with care.
- Maintain accurate sales records and ensure compliance with insurance regulations.
- Represent American Ally at local events and networking opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to obtain a Texas Life and Health Insurance License within 60 days (training and licensing fees fully covered).
- 1–5 years of sales experience preferred; college degree optional.
- Strong communication skills and confidence connecting with people by phone and in-person.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at building and managing client relationships.
- Ambitious, coachable, and energized by a fast-paced, supportive environment.
- Availability to work in-office, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Compensation & Benefits
High earnings potential, clear growth path, and full benefits right from your first year.
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): ~$80,000+ in your first year (base salary + commission).
- Base Salary: Starts at $45,000, with increases to $50,000 at 90 days and $55,000 at 180 days based on performance.
- Commission: 5% of total premium per policy sold (uncapped; paid monthly).
- Health, Dental, Vision Insurance: Available after 90 days.
- Paid Time Off: Unlimited PTO and sick days after 90 days (based on performance), plus company holidays.
- Tools Provided: Company laptop, headset, software licenses, and training materials.
Training & Career Growth
- Onboarding: Two-week training program including shadowing, systems training, and live client engagement.
- Licensing Support: Full assistance to obtain your Texas Health & Life License.
