Shark Ninja is expanding our APAC business and scaling it rapidly. Our two brands, Shark, and Ninja, have enjoyed unprecedented growth in the past 5 years, driven mainly by the very strong innovation pipeline on both brands. Given this success in our existing markets, Shark Ninja has embarked on a bold plan for growing APAC business, in which APAC plays a critical role.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an eCommerce Key Account Manager to join our team. This role will be based in Seoul, Korea.
Position Overview
The Key Account Manager (KAM) – E-commerce will be responsible for driving the commercial performance and operational excellence of SharkNinja’s online business across major digital channels in Korea. This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of SharkNinja’s e-commerce strategy, expanding market share, and strengthening brand visibility through data-driven business management and strong channel partnerships.
The ideal candidate is commercially minded, digitally fluent, and highly analytical, with a proven record of delivering growth in Korea’s dynamic online retail landscape. Experience within a brand organization is preferred, while prior retailer or marketplace experience is also a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities
- Business Strategy & Growth Leadership
- Develop and execute a channel-specific business plan that supports SharkNinja’s long-term e-commerce strategy and sales targets.
- Own the sales and P&L responsibility for assigned channels, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth.
- Take full ownership of topline and profitability (Gross Margin %) performance, ensuring sales and margin delivery in line with business targets and sales governance.
- Identify new opportunities through data analytics, consumer insights, and platform collaboration.
- Lead annual joint business planning (JBP) with key e-commerce partners to align on category growth, visibility, and investment priorities.
- Design and implement promotional strategies, including event planning, pricing tactics, and digital activation plans that drive conversion and sales velocity.
- Negotiate trade terms and manage commercial funding, ensuring efficient budget allocation and ROI-positive investments.
- Collaborate closely with Trade Planning and Finance teams to ensure pricing alignment, budget governance, and effective utilization of trade investments.
- Continuously analyze promotion efficiency and trade spend effectiveness to optimize channel profitability and reinvestment planning
- Account Management & Execution Excellence
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with marketplace partners (Coupang, Naver, Kakao, Gmarket, 11st, etc.) and B2B e-commerce accounts.
- Manage sell-in and sell-out performance through assortment planning, pricing, and promotional calendar execution.
- Drive sales excellence through disciplined monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasting (sell-in/sell-out), ensuring high accuracy and accountability.
- Partner with the Supply Chain team to enhance inventory efficiency, optimize availability, and minimize backorders.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure smooth execution and optimal inventory management.
- Monitor key performance metrics - traffic, conversion, ROI, and market share – to guide data-driven actions.
- Oversee funding management and post-promotion evaluation ensuring spend transparency, compliance, and continuous improvement in promotional ROI.
- Channel-Specific Responsibilities
- Lead growth strategy for Naver Smartstore and SharkNinja’s DTC (brand.com) platform.
- Strengthen brand.com as a key consumer touchpoint — improving user experience, CRM engagement, and conversion optimization.
- Collaborate with marketing to drive traffic via paid media, SEO, and influencer activation.
- Manage Naver Ads, live commerce, and brand promotion tools to deliver triple-digit growth, aiming to make DTC a meaningful contributor to total sales.
- Serve as primary account owner for Coupang — a key volume-driving channel.
- Manage all Coupang initiatives including assortment optimization, price control, Rocket Delivery operations, and Sponsored Ads.
- Collaborate with Coupang’s category managers to identify new product launch opportunities, exclusive bundles, and promotional plans.
- Track and analyze performance data to improve sales velocity, profitability, and visibility across the platform.
- Negotiate promotional and marketing investments terms to achieve both growth and profitability targets.
- Drive growth across multi-marketplace platforms through tailored merchandising, promotions, and brand consistency.
- Build structured sales calendars and manage promotional investments to ensure strong ROI.
- Manage trade terms and promotional budgets across partners, maintaining financial efficiency while supporting competitive activations.
- Monitor competitor activity and develop agile counter-strategies to protect share and drive growth.
- Lead SharkNinja’s presence in social commerce platforms. (IG, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
- Develop strong partnerships with B2B group-buying operators and social commerce partners to maximize reach and volume.
- Design and execute programs that drive repeat purchase and new user acquisition.
- Manage B2B commercial terms and funding strategy, ensuring volume growth aligns with profitability and brand positioning.
- Data, Reporting & Analysis
- Analyze sales trends, category dynamics, and consumer behavior to provide actionable insights.
- Manage weekly/monthly business reviews to track progress and optimize investments.
- Lead post-promotion evaluations to quantify ROI and shape future promotional and funding strategies.
- Use data to recommend improvements in pricing, promotion, and assortment strategies.
- Ensure data accuracy and visibility across internal reporting systems.
- 8–15 years of experience in e-commerce or key account management, preferably within a consumer brand, FMCG or electronics/home appliance company.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen-including trade term negotiation, funding management, and promotion ROI analysis.
- Deep understanding of Korean e-commerce landscape and operations across Naver, Coupang, Gmarket, 11st, and social commerce.
- Proven ability to manage large scale e-commerce accounts and drive double-digit growth through data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent commercial, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Fluent in Korean and proficient in English.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience in managing DTC platforms and CRM systems a plus.
