Your missionThe Senior Front-End Developer will build sophisticated web applications, understand customer needs and ensure TALPA products add value. They will execute the full development cycle, craft quality code and collaborate with the other team members. Staying updated with the latest trends, they will ensure a sustainable web architecture and technology stack. The candidate needs proven experience in building scalable frontend systems, ideally for customer-facing applications. Familiarity with frontend-related tech stacks (e.g. Typescript with React, Next.js, Node.js, Docker/Kubernetes and Git) is required, along with an agile and proactive mindset.
- Work closely with the team, product managers, designers, user researchers, data engineers, data scientists and customers to build sophisticated web applications.
- Understand customers’ needs, jobs and use cases, and derive how TALPA products bring genuine added value.
- Executing a structured flow of user research & testing, product definition, actual implementation, quality assurance and roll-out to the customers.
- Crafting quality code using the latest tools and techniques.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and ensure that TALPA maintains a sustainable web- and front-end architecture as well as a proper technology stack.
- Proven track record in designing and building scalable distributed frontend systems from initial architecture design to when the code is committed to production.
- Experience with frontend related tech stacks (e.g. Typescript with React, Node.js, Next.js, Docker/Kubernetes and Git) and familiarity with the related pitfalls and advantages.
- Comfortable to work in an agile environment and know how to bring a respective mindset to the product development cycle.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams with user researchers, designers, product owners, quality engineers and other stakeholders to product complex products.
- Knowledge of UI and UX Design.
- Experience with e.g. Vue, GraphQL, Java, Go, Python
- Knowledge of big data, data engineering, data science or machine learning
- Quality assurance and testing strategies for software
