About Us

Grant Help is a Melbourne-based consultancy dedicated to helping Australian businesses access government funding. Our team brings over 50 years of combined experience, assisting businesses of all sizes from start-ups to enterprises. Our work is centred on fostering long-term relationships and helping businesses achieve their growth and innovation goals.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, full-time, on-site Account Manager to join our Melbourne team. We're building a division that works with First Nations corporations and communities.

We work in support of our clients, not in front of them. The funding we help secure supports communities to deliver solar projects, water assessments on Country, housing, clean energy partnerships, and the governance capability Nations need to act on their own priorities.

The Role

You'll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of First Nations and corporate clients. The work combines account management and grant writing: scoping eligibility, drafting applications, coordinating specialist inputs, lodging, and supporting clients through to acquittal. You'll work alongside peers who do the same.

About You

Someone who has been doing client work for long enough to know what good looks like. You've gathered information without making people feel chased. You've delivered under deadline without dropping the relationship.

Someone who reads a room. The way you engage with clients matters as much as what you produce.

Someone who writes. The deliverable is the application, and the application is a piece of writing. You should enjoy that part of the work.

Someone who initiates. We're scaling, and we need people who improve how things run without waiting to be asked.

What You'll Bring

  • Professional experience in a client-facing or business role (account management, professional services, consulting, fundraising, policy, operations, or similar)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships end-to-end
  • Strong written English and the discipline to deliver under deadline
  • Experience building or improving business processes
  • Right to work in Australia

What we offer

Real ownership of your portfolio. Competitive salary reviewed annually. Work where the line from your contribution to the outcome is short and visible.
