About The Role
We are seeking an analytical and commercially focused Textile Manager to oversee the strategic and operational management of the textile pool at our Pottery Road site.
The successful candidate will ensure optimal textile availability for customers while maintaining strong control over textile investment, stock levels, and operational efficiency. This role will work closely with Production, Customer Service, Account Management, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to drive service quality, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Manage and optimise the site textile pool to ensure stock availability and operational efficiency.
- Control textile purchasing and monitor spend against budget targets.
- Analyse demand trends, forecast textile requirements, and identify risks or inefficiencies.
- Work with operational and commercial teams to ensure customers are set up with appropriate service models and stock levels.
- Monitor textile performance KPIs including availability, stock circulation, and textile utilisation.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports with clear insights and improvement recommendations.
- Support initiatives focused on reducing textile loss, excess stock, and unnecessary spend.
- Drive continuous improvement across textile performance and customer service delivery.
- Degree-level qualification in business, engineering, supply chain, STEM, or related discipline preferred.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with advanced Excel capability.
- Experience in a fast-paced operational, manufacturing, or supply chain environment.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders effectively.
- Experience within laundry, textiles, supply chain, or asset-intensive operations is advantageous.
- Commercial awareness with a strong focus on cost control and operational efficiency.
