About the Role:
As a Director in Internal Consulting, you will lead high-impact transformation programs, develop talent, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives. This role requires a strategic thinker, a strong people leader, and a delivery expert who can influence across the organization and drive meaningful change. This role will also play a role in shaping and growing the practice.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Lead complex, multi-regional consulting engagements across business and technology domains.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives (ELT/ELT+1), influencing decisions in both individual and group forums.
- Build and maintain a sustainable network of senior client relationships across the firm.
- Provide thought leadership and deep expertise across consulting domains including operating model, technology, data, regulatory, and strategy.
- Structure and manage highly complex programs, while also overseeing delivery by other ICO team members.
- Anticipate and address challenges in executive forums with confidence and credibility.
- Drive the evolution of the Internal Consulting practice by leading strategic initiatives and gaining leadership buy-in.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across the team.
- Actively coach, mentor, and develop team members, with a track record of helping others achieve their potential.
- 10+ years of experience in management consulting or internal transformation roles, ideally in financial services (asset management preferred).
- Proven ability to lead and scale consulting teams in a global, matrixed environment.
- Deep understanding of the Financial services and / or Asset management industry
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence at the highest levels. Qualifications
