Founding Product Manager - AI Startup

We’re hiring a Founding Product Manager to join an early-stage AI startup with strong market traction, enterprise customers, and a Series A planned in the coming months.

The company is building an AI-powered platform used by field teams to capture conversations, generate insights, and automate workflows. The product is already live and now entering its next phase: scaling into a cohesive, AI-first system across web, desktop, and mobile.

The Role

You will take full ownership of the core product, working directly with the CTO and a lean, high-calibre engineering team (ex-founders, top-tier university backgrounds). This is a hands-on role focused on shipping, not managing.

You’ll own the full product lifecycle - from user discovery and problem definition through to delivery and impact. You will work closely with users, define clear product outcomes, and drive execution on AI-powered features and workflows.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own and evolve the core product and roadmap
• Lead user discovery with customers and internal stakeholders
• Translate insights into clear, outcome-driven priorities
• Work closely with engineers on scalable, AI-driven product features
• Drive product initiatives end-to-end (discovery → delivery → measurement)
• Ensure a cohesive experience across multiple platforms
• Introduce and refine lightweight product processes that enable fast execution

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of product management experience in a startup environment
• Strong product sense and ability to prioritise in ambiguity
• Comfortable working closely with engineers on technical topics (APIs, systems, trade-offs)
• Experience with user research and turning insights into product decisions
• Structured, hands-on, and execution-focused mindset
• Fluent in German and English

Nice to Have

• Experience in B2B SaaS, sales tech, or workflow automation
• Exposure to AI-driven products or automation systems
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot)
• Technical or semi-technical academic background
