Compensation & Benefits
- Biweekly salary commensurate with experience plus quarterly performance bonus eligibility

- Full-time: 40+ hours per week depending on level of business forecasted
- Days of week/weekend scheduled will vary depending on level of business forecasted.
- Shift options: Varies
- Attaining maximum revenue levels through various sales processes, including the direct solicitation of social events and conducting property tours to prospective clients.
- Coordinating corporate and social functions by ascertaining detailed information regarding all aspects of the event, publishing complex contracts, and advising the client during the planning process to ensure a successful experience.
- Communicating concise planning information to the operating departments in a timely fashion.
- Assisting with the setup of all catering events by procuring necessary props, floral, costumes, entertainment, etc., for these events.
- Assisting the Director in the planning process, installation, and other facets of departmental projects to include, but not limited to, holiday events and resort sponsored events.
- Assisting to ensure the overall success of client social functions.
- Presenting weekly catering functions at coordination meetings.
- Selling and coordinating all local dining room functions, with groups of a defined number, to include private dinners, lunches, and breakfasts.
- Communicating professionally with clients and staff.
- Assisting periodically with the analysis of departmental procedures and offering viable alternatives to processes of the department including: billing procedures, client correspondence, and form generation.
- Clerical functions including answering telephones and taking messages.
- Generate personalized PC menus from BEO information.
- Review Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) for details.
- Generate personalized PC menus from BEO information.
- Note in the catering calendar special client needs requiring outside resources within notes area of scheduled function.
- Prefer 3-4 years of catering sales or sales manager experience in the elevated service hospitality industry
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form with the public as well as other team members.
- ServSafe Certification a plus
- Essential statistical and analytical skills required to identify revenue opportunities and shortfalls.
- Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally to achieve goals.
- Ability to thrive in a multi-tasked and fast-paced environment.
- Someone with the availability to work when the events are happening, i.e. weekends, nights and holidays
