JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client is seeking an IT Field Technician to support technology deployments across multiple branch locations. This role is hands‑on and field‑based, responsible for imaging, staging, deploying, and supporting end‑user devices and branch technology in a regulated financial environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently at multiple locations.

- Experience imaging and deploying Windows devices (laptops/desktops)
- Familiarity with Active Directory, basic networking, and endpoint setup
Key Responsibilities
Field Deployment & Support
- Travel to branch locations to perform scheduled IT deployments and support activities
- Image, configure, and stage laptops, desktops, peripherals, and other endpoint devices
- Deploy and install end‑user equipment including PCs, monitors, printers, scanners, and related hardware
- Perform device swaps, refreshes, and branch‑level technology upgrades
- Provide basic troubleshooting and break/fix support for end‑user hardware and peripherals
Imaging & Configuration
- Use standard imaging tools and procedures to deploy operating systems and approved software
- Ensure devices meet security, compliance, and configuration standards prior to deployment
- Verify connectivity, domain joins, MFA setup, and endpoint security tools
- Validate that devices are fully functional before handoff to end users
- Documentation & Coordination
- Follow established deployment checklists and processes
- Document work performed, issues identified, and resolutions in the ticketing system
- Coordinate with central IT, service desk, and project teams before and after deployments
- Escalate issues as needed while maintaining clear communication
Customer Service & Professionalism
- Provide white‑glove, professional support in a member‑facing branch environment
- Communicate clearly with branch staff while minimizing business disruption
- Represent IT and the organization in a courteous, professional manner at all times
Required Qualifications
- 1-3+ years of hands‑on IT support, desktop support, or field technician experience
- Experience imaging and deploying Windows devices (laptops/desktops)
- Familiarity with Active Directory, basic networking, and endpoint setup
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and peripheral issues
- Ability to work independently in the field and manage multiple site visits
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between branch locations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting financial institutions or regulated environments
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Ivanti, etc.)
- Experience with device refreshes or large‑scale deployments
- Basic knowledge of security tools (endpoint protection, MFA, device encryption)
Work Environment
- Field‑based role supporting multiple branch locations
- Combination of scheduled deployments and ad‑hoc support
- Standard business hours with occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekend work for deployments
