What You Can Expect
Over two exciting years, you’ll gain hands-on experiences and become an active part of your team’s daily activities. Through impactful projects in three customized assignments - including an eight-month international placement - you’ll gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. A dedicated mentor will support you every step of the way, giving you the chance to explore different roles, engage in immersive experiences, and build a strong network with peers and industry leaders.
In this role, youÖll help the Procurement lead in Onshore to level up Procurement strategies, specifically its associated turnaround projects and key initiatives further.
How You’ll Make An Impact
As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.
- Alongside your rotations you will work in a Procurement group with a true global footprint around the world incl. Europe, Asia as well as North & South America. This will allow you to drive initiatives in the fields of Spare Part supplies, sourcing of Logistic Services as well as project tooling from global view. Your assignments are rounded up by key insights into our operative sourcing & key interface functions such as Cost & Value Engineering
- Next to project work, you will experience our day-to-day business incl. its opportunities and Procurement challenges from 360-degree view and will help to transition commodity trends, worldwide market implications into sourcing concepts setup for success
- This role focuses on true product lifecycle Procurement (product phase-in, maintenance to phase-out). As spider in the web, youÖll be in exchange with other WP related Procurement functions (e.g. connected to our factories) to explore and leverage options for synergy capture & this way optimize total costs for Wind Power overall
- You´re excited to take influence on our global Procurement operations by turning ideas into actions and results, driving initiatives forward in a cross-functionally oriented manner
- Doing so, youÖre interested in experiencing to work in a truly multicultural team thatÖs build up on a culture of strong teamwork and collaboration – despite geographical distance
- Relevant experience through internships and/or working student roles is essential; additional permanent work experience of up to 36 months is welcome
- A master's or doctoral degree in Supply Chain Management and/or Procurement & Logistics or Strategic Management/Corporate Development
- Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working
- Excellent English skills to engage in a multicultural environment, with flexibility and willingness for international travel.
