Position OverviewThis position will handle information regarding motor vehicle title and registration processes. The Processing Specialist I is administratively adept and organized with handling files and maintaining documents. This position is responsible for the scanning and quality control of titling of all new and used cars. Knowledge of state tax and title requirements for various states is essential. A strong attention to detail is required. This position will also be responsible for all aspects of select clients, to include OCR scanning, auditing, customer service, QC, fulfillment and other duties assigned. Overtime may be required.
What you'll do
- Maintaining knowledge of DMV laws and regulations as related to vehicle titles.
- Ensure the company's title and registration work complies with all applicable state regulations.
- Prepare and verify necessary paperwork for submission to county tax office.
- Resolve any customer complaints in a friendly, courteous manner.
- Practice and promote teamwork at all times.
- Daily processing of title and registration transactions.
- Other duties as assigned by Office Manager
- High School Diploma/GED
- Computer experience – MS EXCEL (a must)
- Excellent communication and interaction skills and telephone skills
- Proven ability to prioritize, organize, and perform within multiple work systems simultaneously.
- Must demonstrate reliability and dependability, including schedule adherence and attendance
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with varying personalities
- Strong communication and the ability to build genuine relationships and establish trust at all levels; exceptional interpersonal and rapport building skills, with a patient and empathetic attitude.
- Strong data entry experience.
- Previous Title Clerk Experience
- Experience in MS WORD and RTS
- Previous high speed scanning
