We're redefining how robots are deployed. Our platform enables users to simulate, test, and optimize entire robotic systems in parallel. By removing the barriers that have kept advanced robotics out of reach for all but the largest players, we're ushering in a new era of manufacturing—one where mass reshoring is not only viable, but inevitable.

We are seeking a Simulation Engineer to join our team in Germany (hybrid). In this role, you will drive the optimization of robotic workcells for automotive OEMs and suppliers, ensuring seamless integration of our technology into production environments.

What You'll Do

Robotic Workcell Optimization

  • Lead strategic projects and proof-of-concepts to optimize robotic workcells for automotive manufacturing, focusing on cycle time reduction, collision avoidance, and integration of Realtime Robotics' technology
  • Utilize Siemens Process Simulate and other simulation tools to run "what-if" scenarios, generate collision-free motion plans, and ensure optimized cycle times using Resolver

OEM Standards & Expertise

  • Become the internal expert on automotive OEM standards for project work
  • Develop training materials, best practices, and documentation to support internal teams and ensure alignment with OEM requirements

Collaboration & Customer Relationships

  • Work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure successful project execution, from proposal to deployment
  • Provide technical insights and simulation expertise to drive customer satisfaction and project success
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key contacts at automotive OEMs and suppliers

Requirements

  • Ability to work in our Berlin, Germany office up to several days per week
  • Industrial Robotics Experience: Hands-on experience with robot simulation tools, ideally Siemens Process Simulate
  • Technical Adaptability: Proficient in learning and mastering new software tools quickly and independently
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and drive solutions
  • Project Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements in a dynamic environment
  • Communication: Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Startup Mindset: Desire to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in mechatronics, engineering, or a related technical field
  • Strong German communication skills, both written and verbal
