The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Owning the financial reporting process (monthly, quarterly, year-end)
• Managing job costing and project financial performance
• Leading cash flow forecasting and financial planning
• Building and improving financial systems and processes
• Supporting leadership with clear, actionable financial insights
• Overseeing bookkeeping and finance team functions

This role works closely with the President and leadership team and is critical to building a strong, scalable financial foundation for Eagleview.

In This Role You Will

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Lead monthly close processes and ensure clean, audit-ready books
• Oversee job costing systems and ensure alignment between Buildertrend and QuickBooks
• Work with Project teams to track budgets, identify variances, and improve forecasting
• Manage cash flow forecasting and monitor working capital
• Develop and implement financial processes, controls, and reporting systems
• Lead and support bookkeeping/AP/AR functions
• Coordinate with external accountants for year-end and tax requirements
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years experience in accounting or finance (construction or job-costing experience strongly preferred)
• CPA designation (or working toward) is an asset
• Strong understanding of project-based accounting and financial reporting
• Experience with QuickBooks Online (Buildertrend experience a bonus)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable
• Strong communicator who can translate numbers into clear insights
• Systems thinker who enjoys improving processes and building structure
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team
