Senior Review Officer

The Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) is an independent statutory body set up to combat and reduce the incidence of major crime and corruption in the public sector in Queensland. We investigate crime and corruption, and have oversight of the public sector including police. The CCC also has responsibility for restraining and recovering suspected proceeds of crime and administers Queensland's witness protection program. Its functions and powers are set out in the Crime and Corruption Act 2001.

About You

For this role, we will consider how well you demonstrate:

• Experience in leading, managing and developing staff in support of achieving organisational objectives and prioritisation of workload.
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to review, analyse and report on complex issues, develop strategies for improvement, make high quality decisions and judgments and provide expert advice to senior
• Relevant experience and demonstrated achievement in a law enforcement agency or other public sector agency in areas such as management, compliance, investigation, audit, law or policy coupled with relevant training or qualifications.
• Highly developed interpersonal and oral communication skills including the ability to liaise, consult and negotiate effectively both within the Commission and with senior officers of other public sector agencies in relation to complex and sensitive issues, and to participate in education programs, liaison activities and regional visits.
• High level of written communication skills including the ability to prepare clear, concise and detailed reports and correspondence dealing with and synthesising complex issues.
• Knowledge of, or ability to acquire knowledge of the Commission's legislative framework, policies, procedures and functions, and the relevant legislative and policy framework, procedures, functions, structures and operations of public sector agencies, including and understanding of the principles of fairness, equity and ethics.
