Senior Commerce Business Analyst

6 month contract

302 Swiss Francs per day

2 days a week onsite


Job Summary:

As part of the client's Brand Retail Technology Team, you will support the client in its journey to transform and enable brand retail stores into digital touchpoints with commitment to provide consistent, easy to use, effective and efficient brand retail experience.


You will be assisting Manager of Brand Retail Technology in delivering against the client's vision and objectives in the space of Brand Retail.


The job will develop and deliver globally designed experiences customers love via brand retail technology as well as deliver scale and impact.


As a business analyst you will manage projects of a medium to large scope, proactively communicate with markets, internal stakeholders and external vendors, document technology portfolio capabilities and business needs, formalize technology deployment processes, identify technological gaps and define business and functional designs.


You will also be assisting in training stakeholders on brand retail technological stack and accompany markets in Brand Retail tech. implementation.


Key Areas of Focus:


- Bring technology into store environments (beyond standard CMS setups used today)


- Enable interactive in‑store features (e.g. “smell & taste”, “lift & learn”)


- Support store zoning and optimisation (e.g. heatmapping, journey tracking)



# Key Responsibilities:


- Drive the deployment and market adoption of brand retail digital signage CMS, object recognition and other Brand retail technological stack in line with client's policies and guidelines and Brand Retail roadmap


- Translate business requirements and consumer experiences into business/functional design in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, architects, information services & data teams


- Cover full journey: entry points → digital signage → CMS → checkout/POS


- Centralize and manage end user requests related to BR technology


- Define, prepare and review test scenarios & templates that reflect business requirements


- Ensure end consumer satisfaction with technological solutions


- Business support in the technology delivery process and streamlining business processes for technological providers and technology end users (BR central function, markets, regions, other central functions (legal, security, data privacy, etc.))


- Ensure technological consistency, availability of historical data and smooth transition from legacy technology to updated tech stack


- Contribute to the development of technological knowledge base for efficient Run & Support


- Extend stakeholder awareness and knowledge about BR technological stack by providing them with toolboxes, dashboards and organizing info sessions covering BR tech. capabilities, best practices and guidelines


- Develop BR Lab dedicated to testing of new technologies and showcasing new capabilities


- Work closely with IT counterparts (data privacy, security, partner management)


- Integrate key platforms (CMS, SSO, DAM)


- Support sensor-based applications (e.g. age compliance / under-25 restrictions)



# Required Skills & Competencies:


- Ideally a bachelor degree in relevant subject (Digital project management, MultiMedia, Brand Retail)


- Not a typical CMS role — requires understanding of physical retail tech


- Agile experience (2-week sprints, rigorous delivery cadence)


- Have a proven track record of delivering projects including digital platforms


- Strong documentation skills


- Strong project management skills


- Must have good people skills and the ability to interact and communicate effectively, orally and in writing, across all levels


- Experience with digital environment and related regulatory aspects (e.g. data privacy, legal, information security, etc.)


- Experience working successfully in a global, multicultural organization


- Collaborative in nature: a team player who is experienced in developing very strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and can successfully work independently


- Proven ability to work effectively across functions


- Proven ability to build a strong partnership and trust with partners and management within an organization


- Strong organization skills


- Fluent written and spoken English
