Overview

The Intuit Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) is responsible for generating over half of Intuit’s global revenue. Flagship brands include QuickBooks and Mailchimp, and our vision is to power SMB prosperity globally by delivering our AI-enabled ‘all-in-one’ platform for small and mid-sized businesses to run and grow their business—from lead to cash—with a virtual team of AI-enabled agents and human experts.

The rollout of a platform-backed QuickBooks across 100+ countries last November marked a pivotal milestone—and it proved something critical: while tax codes, regulations, and languages change at the border, the fundamental needs of small businesses do not. No matter the location, our customers need to get paid, manage capital, and find customers. To continue our momentum in this high stakes domain, the International Product Organization is seeking three Principal Product Managers to lead our International Platform and AI strategy, driving global scale, local market relevance, to expand our global footprint and unlock the next generation of global growth through world-class platform-based and AI-first customer experiences.

Responsibilities

Role 1 - AI Financial Infrastructure & Compliance

E-invoicing and tax compliance onboarding is a manual, country by country process that is slow, costly, and unscalable. We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead our AI Financial Infrastructure & Compliance strategy. This role will build a centralized, multi-market compliance layer spanning e-invoicing, tax automation, and regulatory infrastructure—using an AI+HI (Artificial Intelligence + Human Intelligence) model to streamline new country onboarding experiences. This is a rare opportunity to own the transformation of how Intuit enters and operates in global markets at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Design and own the roadmap for a centralized AI-powered compliance platform that abstracts country-specific tax, e-invoicing, and regulatory rules into reusable, scalable configurations across 100+ markets.
  • Architect and drive the policy-as-code model: treating government regulatory requirements as structured data that AI can ingest, validate, and deploy—replacing slow, per-country manual configurations.
  • Lead the AI+HI pipeline: define how official government data sources are ingested, how AI generates compliance configurations, and where human expert review checkpoints apply.
  • Own the e-invoicing and tax automation infrastructure roadmap across Tier 1 and expansion markets, setting the sequencing and investment priorities.
  • Drive architecture decisions at the legal/engineering intersection—serving as the product owner who shapes technical direction, not just a liaison between teams..
  • Establish success metrics and SLAs for the compliance platform: onboarding cycle time, compliance coverage by market, error rates, and cost-per-country.
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, legal, finance, and international markets leads to execute against a shared compliance platform vision.

Role 2 - API Partner Ecosystems

To scale efficiently and meet customers where they are, we must rely on a thriving partner ecosystem. We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to build the developer foundation and API ecosystem that allows regional third-party partners to offer localized, non-competing agents and services on top of our core platform. This role is the key to capturing new regions through strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Define and build the partner API platform, including the developer-facing infrastructure, SDK strategy, authentication model, and extensibility framework that regional third-party integrators rely on.
  • Own the partner program product strategy, including what integrations we enable, how partners get certified, and how the platform governs quality and compliance on behalf of customers.
  • Work with regional market lead, BD and partnerships teams to identify the highest-value partner categories (payroll, FMS compliance, money-out, vertical solutions) and prioritize API capabilities accordingly.
  • Design the ecosystem discovery and distribution surfaces that allows customers to find and activate regional partner solutions within the QuickBooks platform or execute the jobs to be done without any need to understand which products to pick from highly leveraging AI.
  • Establish the trust and safety model for the ecosystem: data access permissions, OAuth scoping, partner audit standards, and customer protection policies.
  • Define developer success metrics and partner health KPIs that connect ecosystem activity directly to customer outcomes and regional market growth.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, legal, partner success, and international market leads to execute the partner platform roadmap.

Role 3 - AI Native Experiences

Not every high-conviction product idea has a dedicated team behind it. We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to keep our most important early-stage opportunities moving from ideation to strong hypothesis and validation quick. This AI-native generalist will run 2–3 parallel product bets at any given time—spanning new AI-driven use cases, global expansion opportunities, and platform abstraction work—while simultaneously supporting analytics and KPI development with BizOps and leadership. This role ensures we always have a validated, high-conviction pipeline of ideas ready to earn investment fast.

Responsibilities

  • Lead 2–3 incubated product initiatives simultaneously, from problem definition through proof-of-concept and investment pitch—defining target segments, core use cases, and the proof points needed to earn resources.
  • Build end-to-end business cases from first principles for early-stage product concepts, including market sizing, customer validation, monetization models, and strategic fit. Build prototypes and AI forward solutions with high quality and data informed thesis.
  • Collaborate with BizOps and leadership on product analytics and KPI frameworks that give the team visibility into what is working across the international portfolio.
  • Work alongside other product teams to abstract country-specific solutions work into globally reusable platform patterns—ensuring everything we build is global by design, not localized by default.
  • Operate as a product lab for AI-native, agentic use cases: explore how end-to-end AI solutions can bridge customer success and sales motions for international SMBs.
  • Serve as connective tissue across parallel workstreams—context-switching rapidly while maintaining rigor and velocity on multiple fronts and comfortable working with ambiguity, doing the research work and building strong anchored hypotheses and accelerating product roadmap.
  • Champion the incubator operating model across the team, helping establish intake, prioritization, and graduation processes for new product bets. Entrepreneurship mindset with a full stack AI forward skillset to operate with minimum resources, high speed and polishing.

Qualifications

Domain

  • Role 1 - AI Financial Infrastructure & Compliance: Prior experience leading global or international platform expansion, specifically building core services and compliance infrastructure for multiple non-native markets.
  • Role 2 - API Partner Ecosystems: Prior experience defining and shipping a developer API platform or marketplace that third-party partners built production integrations on top of.
  • Role 3 - AI Native Experiences: Prior experience leading global or international product expansion, with a focus on identifying and validating new market opportunities, including demonstrated expertise building and shipping AI-native products.

Domain (continued)

  • Experience building for SMB and mid-market customers at a company with an ecosystem of products and services.
  • Proven experience in harmonizing product strategies across diverse offerings (e.g., finance, marketing, payments) to build a unified customer ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of successfully championing trajectory-changing business shifts for organizations, including commercial and product innovation that translates to revenue and customer growth.

Functional

  • Exceptional at prioritization and decision-making -- narrowing to the critical few.
  • Experience managing a complex portfolio of platform components and 0-1 product offerings designed for international scale.
  • Effective at working cross-functionally in a large matrix-style organization to ensure teams can move with speed and maximum impact.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Expertise in designing global platform architecture that abstracts complex regional regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., VAT, payroll, GDPR) into scalable, reusable components.
  • Customer Obsession: The ability to wear the customer’s hat at all times and be a customer advocate first.
  • Growth Mindset: willing to accept feedback and seek ways to get better every day. Embrace a learning mindset that allows you to take risks and redefine failure as learning.
  • Analytical Aptitude: Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Familiarity with analytics tools and methodologies.

Leadership

  • Exceptional ability to influence beyond their direct team to the portfolio level, company, and executive leadership level.
  • Experience managing teams that cover more than one primary offering.
  • Quality Champion: inspiring leader with a strategic mindset, is comfortable with ambiguity, and holds a high bar for quality and consistency standards.
