We are seeking a strategic, organized, and customer‑focused Product Manager Coatings to drive our new product development pipeline and manage a diverse product portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering successful product launches, supporting cross‑functional teams, and ensuring our products meet market needs through high‑quality documentation, training, and marketing materials.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the product strategy, working closely with Marketing, R&D, Quality, Packaging, Sales, and external partners. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, enjoys becoming the expert in their category, and excels at managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full product lifecycle, including portfolio optimization and the Stage ‑ Gate NPD pipeline.
  • Lead new product development projects from concept to launch, ensuring market ‑ fit, quality, and profitability.
  • Develop product plans based on customer, market, and end ‑ user insights, in collaboration with Segment and Brand Managers.
  • Act as the category expert, monitoring competitors, product performance, and category dynamics to identify opportunities.
  • Ensure product quality, compliance, documentation, technical datasheets, and packaging standards in partnership with R&D, Quality, and Packaging.
  • Oversee product cost management, budgeting processes, and support cost ‑ saving initiatives.
  • Provide product content, support training activities, and ensure accurate product information across systems and platforms.
  • Build strong cross ‑ functional relationships and support efficient communication and workflow across teams.
  • Guide and support direct reports through prioritization and personal development planning (where applicable).

Qualifications

  • Experience in product marketing or product management.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Degree in R&D, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Ability to adopt and utilize new technologies and systems quickly.
  • Experience in Industrial Wood / Woodcare is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English and Swedish.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
