These exciting, ongoing and non-ongoing for 12 months, hybrid, flexible roles within the Enterprise Technology Group (ETG) at The Administrative Review Tribunal can be located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney, Darwin or Perth.


Remuneration: The annual salary for the position is APS5 - $88,834 - $96,829 p.a., plus a generous employer superannuation contribution of 15.4%.


About the opportunity:

Reporting to Case Management System (CMS) Product Leads, the System Analyst roles provide application support to Tribunal end-users and contribute to the testing and implementation of system changes.

Working closely with other System Analysts and ETG staff, you will have the opportunity to learn new skills and contribute to key organisational and strategic initiatives.

You will be required to provide quality and responsive 1st and 2nd level support to end users across business application systems. Undertake routine maintenance including backups, server updates, and monitoring of system logs.

You will support the product teams and users in monitoring and managing the workload and output of the team against business priorities and known user concerns and serve as an escalation point for complex enquiries

The team are geographically dispersed and enjoy flexible working arrangements, including the opportunity to regularly work from home.


About you:

To be successful you will require:

  • Experience providing 1st and 2nd level application support for business applications, and documenting related processes
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills to be able to communicate complex information clearly and succinctly
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively, develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • A basic understanding of the system development lifecycle (SDLC), database systems and knowledge of SQL


You will hit the ground running if you have experience using Jira, Confluence and ServiceNow and supporting bespoke case management systems.


Desirable:

  • Degree or post graduate qualifications in information, technology, management and/or related disciplines
  • Using Jira, Confluence and ServiceNow
  • Supporting bespoke case management systems
  • Vocational certification in modern information, communication and technology approaches including Agile, Scrum, SAFe, ITIL, TOGAF, COBIT, PRINCE2/PMBOK, etc.
