Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Field Support/Desktop Support professional to provide technical support for desktop systems, hardware, software, and peripherals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting user issues, deploying systems, maintaining IT desktop configurations, and coordinating with vendors and internal IT teams to ensure smooth desktop operations.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy PCs, laptops, and peripherals as requested
Install, configure, and test desktop hardware/software
Troubleshoot desktop, connectivity, and user issues
Provide timely technical support to end users
Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams
Coordinate with vendors and IT departments
Gather business and user requirements
Maintain desktop security procedures and compliance
Follow organizational IT policies and documentation standards
Perform routine desktop maintenance and upgrades
Required Skills
Strong experience in Desktop Support / Field Support
Experience with Windows environments and desktop troubleshooting
Hardware/software installation and configuration
Excellent communication and customer support skills
Experience supporting end users onsite
Ability to troubleshoot networking/connectivity issues
