Warehouse and Production Manager

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Direct all inbound, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities for hydraulic components and assemblies
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counting, physical inventories, and system reconciliation
- Optimize warehouse layout, material flow, and storage methods to maximize efficiency and space utilization
- Maintain compliance with material handling, labeling, and documentation standards
- Lead hose assembly, kitting, and light manufacturing operations in accordance with specifications and quality standards
- Ensure proper use of crimping equipment, test benches, and assembly tools
- Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand, expedites, and service-level targets
- Enforce quality checkpoints, testing protocols, and rework processes
- Champion a strong safety culture across warehouse and production areas
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, company safety policies, and environmental requirements
- Conduct regular safety audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions
- Maintain proper training and certifications for forklifts, cranes, and production equipment
- Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse and production staff
- Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular reviews
- Manage staffing levels, hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling
- Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- High school diploma or GED required; postsecondary education preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or inventory management operations.
- At least 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience, with direct responsibility for leading warehouse associates, leads, or supervisors.
- Demonstrated experience managing inbound, outbound, and inventory control functions in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proven track record of driving productivity, accuracy, and safety performance within a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Experience overseeing labor planning, scheduling, and performance management, including onboarding, coaching, and corrective action.
- Hands‑on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory software, including reporting and operational metrics.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety programs, and compliance standards in a warehouse environment.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives such as layout optimization, process improvement, or lean practices preferred.
