Technical Support Engineer

This company supports major players across the banking and financial services sector and is hiring a Technical Support Engineer to join their onsite team in Chicago. You'll be at the heart of their technology operations, helping ensure the smooth running of critical trading platforms and infrastructure, and supporting non-technical users when it matters most.


One of the standout benefits of this role is the training. You'll take part in a fully paid, three-week training program in Ireland, so a passport is required. What You'll Do:

  • Provide onsite technical support clients in a professional, efficient manner
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating complex problems when needed
  • Implement system enhancements and upgrades to improve performance and stability
  • Carry out routine maintenance, including software updates and configuration changes


What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • 1+ year's experience in a technical support role
  • Experience in the financial sector is highly desired
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, endpoint management, device deployment, cloud migration, Active Directory and Azure (don't need all)
  • Onsite support experience is preferred
  • Someone who has passion outside of work. Think sports, music, hiking, art etc



They are flexible of skillset but need someone with support experience, a passion for learning, able to quickly problem solve and strong communication skills
