Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Sales to lead and scale our sales organization across Connecticut and New England. This senior leader will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building and developing high-performing sales teams, optimizing sales processes, and expanding our market presence within the home improvement industry (e.g., replacement windows and doors; shower/bath replacement).
The ideal candidate is a hands-on sales leader with deep experience in in-home or service-based sales, strong coaching ability, and a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve short- and long-term revenue goals
- Lead, coach, and mentor sales managers and representatives to drive consistent performance
- Establish and monitor KPIs, sales forecasts, and performance metrics
- Analyze market trends, competition, and pricing to identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations, and Production teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Optimize sales processes, CRM usage, and in-home sales methodologies
- Oversee sales budgeting, commission structures, and incentive programs
- Travel regularly throughout Connecticut and New England to support teams, attend appointments, and visit branches or job sites
Qualifications & Experience
- 7 +years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in home improvement, construction, or in-home services
- B2C One call close experience required
- Proven success building and scaling sales teams in a high-volume, performance-driven environment
- Strong understanding of in-home sales models, consumer financing, and consultative selling
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM systems and sales analytics
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout Connecticut
Additional Details:
W2, OTE $135,000-$200,000, weekly pay schedule
