The Manager, Supply Planning role oversees end-to-end clinical supply planning within an external manufacturing environment operating under a fully outsourced CDMO model supporting mRNA/LNP-based programs. The position is responsible for building and managing 18-month rolling MRP plans, developing supply strategies for clinical drug product and critical materials, and leading S&OP process design, reporting, and cross-functional planning reviews.
Key responsibilities include coordinating manufacturing schedules across external partners, monitoring production timelines and supply risks, maintaining inventory strategies and material traceability, and supporting regulatory and change management activities to ensure supply continuity for clinical programs.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, life sciences, or a related field, along with 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech supply planning experience, strong MRP/ERP (preferably SAP) expertise, and experience supporting clinical supply within outsourced manufacturing models. Preferred qualifications include exposure to advanced biologics or gene therapy modalities, S&OP/IBP process implementation, CMC regulatory familiarity, and APICS certification.
