Payslip have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our growing team in Bulgaria, you will bring a strong technical aptitude and a genuine passion for ensuring software quality. As Quality Assurance Specialist you will thoroughly analyze project documentation, gain a deep understanding of the platform and its enhancements, and meticulously review business requirements and functional specifications to ensure our high standards are consistently met, delivering a seamless and reliable user experience.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Grow your knowledge of the Payslip platform
- Analysis of Business Requirements, develop and execute test plans and scenarios to ensure the accurate development of software features from a business and functional perspective within given timelines
- Collaborate with Business and Technology teams to coordinate feature testing Pre and Post Go Live
- Assess if the system can support day-to-day business and user scenarios
- Ensure the platform expected behavior in terms of business operations and meets user experience and performance standards
- Identify test scenarios, create UAT test cases and data
- Identify, document, and track any defects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality releases.
- Provide status and result reporting and confirm business objectives are completed
- Participate in sprint planning and review meetings
- Provide support in creating and maintaining comprehensive product user documentation
- Provide feedback to improve development and testing processes
- 3+ years of QA testing experience
- A keen Interest in developing a career in quality and user acceptance testing
- Excellent organizational attention to detail skills
- Proficient written and verbal communications skill in English
- Can-do and problem-solving attitude and enthusiasm
- Ability to plan, manage, track, and deliver on commitments
- Analytical mind set and strong technical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team or autonomously with an agile and collaborative manner
- Foundational knowledge of modern testing practices and frameworks, including familiarity with defining test scenarios following a BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) approach (e.g. Gherkin) would be beneficial
- Familiarity with Test Management tools (e.g. Xray), and basic understanding of automation frameworks such as Robot Framework or Cypress would be considered a plus.
- Prior experience with Git and Postman advantageous
- Experience collaborating with multiple functional areas, product management, engineering, UX/UI
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality
