In This Role, You Will
- Ensures the highest quality housekeeping, maintenance, and repair practices are consistently implemented across the property
- Assist the Maintenance Superintendent in the day-to-day operations of the property, overseeing all phases of maintenance for common areas, including buildings and grounds, while directly supervising external contractors to ensure compliance with company standards and maintenance agreements
- Assist the Maintenance Superintendent in identifying maintenance needs for the property’s common areas.
- Assist the Maintenance Superintendent with key property systems and infrastructure, including roadways, parking lots, curbs, sidewalks, doors, furniture, restrooms, landscaping, floors, lighting, HVAC systems, stormwater management systems, and roof systems

- Experience in construction or building maintenance, or a combination of relevant education and experience
- Strong knowledge of construction and maintenance processes and techniques
- A solid understanding of corporate standards for shopping centers, with a proven ability to meet and exceed those standards
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to guide and motivate a team effectively
- Strong team-building, organizational, and staff development abilities
- Capable of communicating technical concerns clearly and accurately, providing the necessary details quickly
- High level of initiative, with the ability to make independent decisions and exercise sound judgment
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out complex instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to gather, organize, and prepare work-related documents using standard office equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work on construction sites, and navigate uneven terrain or building roofs safely and efficiently
