We are supporting the search for a unique opportunity with an internationally backed technology business establishing its first permanent operation in Dresden.

This is a rare chance to join at the very beginning of a new European growth chapter. The business supplies specialist materials into the semiconductor industry and works with leading global customers. With strong financial backing and an established international presence, they are now investing in a local team in Germany.

The Opportunity

This will be the first hire on the ground in Dresden, making it a broad and high-impact role with genuine progression potential.

You will act as the local operational hub, supporting customers, coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and helping build a highly professional local presence.

The role would suit someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and being part of something new.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound shipments and logistics processes
• Manage customer communication regarding deliveries, timelines, and queries
• Liaise with logistics providers, customs contacts, and external service partners
• Maintain accurate shipment files and compliance documentation
• Support internal teams with order coordination and administration
• Handle general office operations and local correspondence
• Build strong relationships with customers and external stakeholders
• Support the future growth of the Dresden branch as responsibilities expand

What We’re Looking For

• Fluent German is essential
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Organised, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working independently in a small team environment
• Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership
• Good English skills for international communication
