Construction Project Executive

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Project Executive with proven success leading large-scale commercial mission critical and data center construction projects. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing multiple projects, driving operational excellence, supporting project teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring successful execution from preconstruction through final delivery.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in data center construction environments, understands complex MEP coordination, fast-track schedules, and high-level owner expectations, while providing strategic leadership to Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Project Leadership

• Oversee multiple mission critical / data center construction projects simultaneously
• Provide strategic leadership from preconstruction through project completion
• Ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality expectations
• Lead internal teams to maintain operational consistency and execution standards

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as senior point of contact for owners, developers, consultants, and subcontractors
• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout all phases of construction
• Participate in executive meetings, progress reviews, and high-level decision making

Financial Oversight

• Monitor project financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
• Review buyout strategy, change orders, subcontractor commitments, and risk exposure
• Drive profitability across assigned projects and ensure margin protection

Team Leadership

• Mentor and support Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents
• Assist with staffing strategy, leadership development, and performance accountability
• Promote strong communication between office and field operations

Operational Excellence

• Support preconstruction planning, procurement strategies, and schedule development
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality expectations, and contract compliance
• Identify risks early and develop solutions that protect schedule and budget

Required Background

• Strong experience as Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, or Operations Leader within a commercial general contractor environment
• Must have direct mission critical / data center construction experience
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and critical systems coordination
• Proven ability to lead large, complex, fast-paced construction projects
• Experience managing high-value projects and executive-level client relationships

Preferred Qualifications

• Large commercial project experience in excess of $50M+
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost reporting, and construction operations
• Ability to lead multiple teams and projects simultaneously
• Stable work history with reputable commercial general contractors
