This role in summary

As Key Account Manager for KitchenAid, you will be accountable for your assigned customer portfolio, with the core objective of ensuring the achievement of targeted sales and the profit plan. You will serve as the primary point of contact and crucial liaison between your customers and the internal KitchenAid organization.


This role requires close collaboration with the central team and our headquarters in Brussels to further strengthen our premium brand position in the Dutch market, in alignment with our commercial strategy.


Your responsibilities will include

  • End-to-end accountability for assigned customers (from strategic business planning and execution to performance follow-up), ensuring the achievement of sales targets as defined by the profit plan.
  • Cultivating and maintaining robust relationships with key customers, driving mutual business growth, and aligning joint sales targets with the company's commercial and strategic agenda.
  • Serving as the central internal coordinator, facilitating seamless communication and proactive problem-solving between customers and critical internal departments, including logistics, finance, and marketing.
  • Optimizing assortment planning and promotional campaigns in line with the KitchenAid Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy.
  • Planning and executing product launches according to the marketing plan and channel strategy to achieve agreed objectives.
  • Collaborating with Trade Marketing to secure best-in-class marketing activation that supports our premium brand presence at the customer level.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with antitrust law.


Core Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Building strong, trusting, long-term bonds with key clients.
  • Strategic Planning: Developing and executing account plans to meet client goals and company objectives.
  • Needs Anticipation: Understanding client business needs, challenges, and market trends to provide tailored solutions.
  • Internal Coordination: Working with internal teams to deliver on client promises.
  • Problem Resolution: Addressing client concerns and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
  • Performance Tracking: Analyzing client data and reviewing performance to enhance the relationship.


Minimum requirements

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Deep understanding of the client's industry and business objectives.
  • Experience in sales or account management.
  • Office/Google Suite skills
  • Fluency in Dutch and a good level English


Preferred skills and experiences

  • Experience working in similar industries (Small Domestic Appliances).
  • Strong business acumen and commercial mindset.
  • Demonstrated effective negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proactive and exceptional problem-solving capabilities
  • Accountable, proactive, flexible, and highly structured approach to work.
  • A collaborative team player and effective relationship builder who thrives in an international environment.
