Now Hiring - Team Lead

Ranew's Companies is seeking a Team Lead to join our growing team in Davenport, IA.

As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that all team members efficiently utilize their skills and training. This includes verbally instructing employees to complete tasks and functions in which they are cross trained, as needed to meet operational demands and achieve team objectives. You will assess workload distribution and promptly direct cross-trained employees to undertake additional or alternative duties, ensuring optimal productivity and task completion within the team. Provide leadership and line management to the team, coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring production targets and quality standards are met in order to meet the requirements of the customer. Develop the team by focusing on individual performance and support requirements to achieve high standards, while fostering a culture of working safely. Work under general supervision, reviewed by management. Decisions and results have an impact on the functions and their success.

Location: Davenport, IA

Salary: $19 - $21 / hour (starting pay is based on experience and shift)

Job Type: Full-Time | 1st Shift

Team Lead Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Lead and train department personnel to assume verbatim compliance with written work instructions and procedures.
  • Coordinate and schedule Assembly and Test Kick-Off meetings with respective departments.
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and alloy identity inspections of randomly selected parts for compliance to project requirements.
  • Review existing tooling, gauging, and fixtures and making improvements, as necessary, to afford increased department efficiency.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities through the procurement of materials and hardware.
  • Follow through on hardware and software issues requiring services of other departments to afford timely completion.
  • Attend Project Status meetings and provide input.
  • Responsible for safety practices and procedures and implement corrective actions.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of computer functions, including the ability to use multiple computer systems and programs.
