SJB is a community of approximately 400 students from Grades 8 - 12. We are a small school, when compared to other schools in our area, allowing for a more personal experience for our students. Job Description
Position Details:This is a part time position (0.4) job-share position with an existing, experienced staff member, and consists of the following responsibilities:
English, Drama, Christian Education
- Providing instruction in the disciplines listed above
- Performing appropriate assessments and providing feedback to students and parents.
- Working collaboratively and cohesively with staff for the benefit of the students
- Working with the Learning Support department to support students with exceptionalities.
- Implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Valid teaching certification in British Columbia.
- Experience teaching English, Drama, and Christian Education are an asset
- Strong classroom management and differentiated instruction skills.
- Commitment to Catholic education and the values of faith-based learning.
- Ability to collaborate with staff, students, and parents to foster a supportive learning environment.
