A day in the life of a Key Account Manager Nestlé Professional:
- Drive achievement of volume, Net Proceeds of Sales (NPS) and customer contribution targets for assigned key accounts across the Adriatic South Hub geographies (Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo)
- Analyze customer performance, portfolio, pricing and activities, and develop annual customer business plans aligned with channel, category and brand strategies
- Lead annual business planning and negotiate commercial agreements and trade terms with key customers
- Conduct regular business reviews with customers to monitor performance, identify growth opportunities and ensure delivery of agreed objectives
- Monitor execution at store and outlet level, providing feedback and driving continuous improvement in collaboration with Field Sales teams
- Manage trade investment for assigned customers, including planning, tracking and optimization of Total Trade Spend (TTS) to ensure efficient use of resources
- Perform pre- and post-evaluation of customer activities to ensure strong return on investment and continuous business improvement
- Follow up on outstanding debts, claims and bad goods, ensuring financial discipline and timely resolution
- Plan, execute and evaluate customer development initiatives, including pricing, assortment, placement, promotions and distribution in close collaboration with Marketing, Trade Marketing and Field Sales teams
- Lead negotiations and ensure successful implementation of all customer development activities with assigned key accounts
- Provide clear, structured communication of customer plans and priorities to Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing and Supply Chain teams
- Actively contribute to forecasting and demand planning processes through regular input and market insights
- Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and Nestlé, ensuring strong, transparent and professional relationships
- University degree in a relevant field with minimum 4–6 years of experience in Key Account Management, sales or customer management, preferably in FMCG or out-of-home channel
- Proven track record of managing key customers and delivering sustainable business growth
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex customer relationships
- Strategic thinking combined with strong execution and results orientation
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); experience working with sales and financial reporting tools (e.g. SAP) is considered an advantage
- Excellent command of English, written and spoken
- Valid B category driving license
