We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Manager to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will support the day-to-day operational and administrative functions of the organization, helping to ensure that our mission-driven programs run smoothly and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about the non-profit sector who wants to build a foundation in organizational management and operations.
· Assist in the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the organization.
· Support budget tracking, expense reporting, and basic financial record-keeping under the guidance of senior staff.
· Coordinate scheduling, meetings, and communications across departments and with external stakeholders.
· Help prepare reports, presentations, and documents for leadership and board meetings.
· Maintain organized filing systems and databases for organizational records.
· Assist with grant administration tasks, including tracking deliverables and deadlines.
· Support HR functions such as onboarding new staff and coordinating volunteer activities.
· Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and recommend solutions.
· Liaise with vendors, donors, and community partners in a professional manner.
· Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals.
Required:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or equivalent tools.
· Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of the non-profit sector.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred:
· Prior internship or volunteer experience in a non-profit or community-based organization.
· Familiarity with donor management or CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Bloomerang).
· Basic understanding of non-profit financial practices and grant reporting.
· Experience with project coordination or event planning.
