Digital Marketing Sales Position


We are anxious to welcome a dynamic, flexible, and results-driven sales and marketing practitioner to help EmpowerLocal identify, acquire, and retain new advertising customers for our one-of-a-kind local publisher network. EmpowerLocal is the first digital advertising platform created to give brands direct access to trusted, local and hyperlocal audiences, backed by Launch Tennessee’s Impact Fund and other investment resources.


This position will be responsible for driving growth by developing new strategies for outbound and inbound campaigns, lead generation and qualification, prospect nurturing, and sales through both direct and marketing channels.


This role requires a team player who can work cross-functionally with the entire organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a significant impact, grow by getting things done, and accelerate the success of a mission-driven organization.


This position is primarily a sales position. First and foremost, this individual will be responsible for prospecting, setting up sales calls, and closing the business. This individual is also responsible for managing client relationships & results, sustaining processes and strategies to promote retention and loyalty, and collaborating with delivery team members to achieve our client’s goals. By developing, nurturing and advocating for the clients' needs, this person will ensure the successful relationship between EmpowerLocal and the clients.


Responsibilities


  • Responsible for prospecting and cold calling prospects
  • Responsible for sales presentations and closing new business
  • Responsible for managing account client communication and engagement during the client lifecycle
  • Drive client retention and revenue growth for an established customer base
  • Provide accurate weekly/monthly/quarterly sales forecasting, where applicable
  • Build long-lasting partnerships with other team members to improve systems and processes
  • Provide consultative reviews, reporting and health-checks to clients on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Analyze data to form talking points related specifically to where the customer stands in terms of health
  • Think with a customer mindset first, and understand the motivations behind their buying decisions
  • Share customer feedback across functions and with the leadership team in a constructive manner in order to resolve customer challenges
  • Achieve or exceed established KPIs


Qualifications


  • 3+ years working in Digital Marketing Sales
  • Ability to build and maintain internal working relationships and thrive in a fast pace environment with tight deadlines.
  • Digital Marketing experience required
  • Agency experience is a plus
  • Experience working in a CRM
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Receptive to feedback, willingness to learn and embrace continuous improvement
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and their key personnel
  • Exceptional communication and problem solving skills
